NEW G55 OWNER HERE
This is my first post here introducing myself. I recently purchased a 2009 G55 AMG with only 35k miles, I jumped the opportunity to buy the truck and am very happy with my decision so far.
Prior to this truck I owned a 2004 G500 and a 2011 G550 the AMG hits all the marks that the others had missed. The extra power delivered by the M113 is amazing even tho I think my boost pump is on the fritz..
Just a few photos for now hopefully I'll have some updates in the pipeline!

Congrats on the purchase. I have a 2010 with about 48k mi on it that I'll be selling in a few months. Curious what you actually paid for the G? Feel free to share via PM if you prefer. Hard to know what the market on these so good to get a data point.

Some new tires installed today along with a fresh Mobil 1 oil change. Tires on the truck were dry-rotted and possibly the original, ordered a set of Pirellis, the truck drives brand new now. I also had the grills around the rear tail lights removed I think it was too much bling on the rear, I like the cleaner look much better.

Congrats, I would recommend changing all the fluids since it's a 10 year old truck. Coolant, transmission, brakes, oil, and steering. I did it with my 2011 and they truck feels stronger then when I bought it.

I performed and oil change as soon as I bought truck. Planning on doing a brake fluid flush soon, coolant will be flushed when the CM30 arrives. I ended up ordering a tune/83mm pulley from Eurocharged, going to get a set of K&N filters as-well, should all be together by the end of next week hopefully!

Couple updates, ended up flushing the brake fluid and doing tie rods ends last week along with a fresh alignment..
Some parts finally came in cant wait to have it all together.. Euro-charged tune, 83mm pulley, CM30 pump, Gates HD belt and a pair of K&N filters.. Hopefully I can have this all installed by end of next week. Anyone else running the same setup on their G55???

Potentially a new owner
I’m considering purchasing an 2005 g55 AMG with about 60k miles. I’ve a 97 Defender90, looking for something a bit more practical. Any feedback and advice would be appreciated.
