With the proprietary RENNtech ECU Tuning the W463 - G63 AMG gains up to +88 HP and +65 LB-FT, based on power numbers measured by RENNtech. Please note that the Mercedes M177 engine performance when measured, obtains higher numbers than rated from factory. The maximum power number reached with the RENNtech ECU Upgrade for the G63 AMG is 731 HP and 786 LB-FT.


Notes:

• We have found the M177 engine stock performance numbers vary from the baseline figures claimed by Mercedes-Benz. We typically see higher baseline numbers than claimed by the factory.
• Power gains are calculated based on stock numbers measured by RENNtech. Crank Performance Numbers are calculated with a 16% Drivetrain loss on SUV's.
• Numbers published by MBUSA are an average over a 750rpm range for HP and a 2,000rpm range for TQ. Power gains are calculated based on the peak stock performance measured by RENNtech.
• Our numbers will be dependent on conditions and fuel quality. 93+ Octane gasoline is mandatory with this Performance Upgrade.

does it remove also the speed limit?

Yes it does.

numbers are confusing. Chart shows 9HP gain and 60l oss in TQ. Product Claims of 731 HP and 786 LB-FT???

The chart numbers are TO THE WHEELS as it says on it. The numbers you are going off of are to crank so you need to add 16% to the chart numbers.

731HP to the crank with 16% drivetrain loss = 614HP
786 TQ to the crank with 16% drivetrain loss = 660tq

However, there is a mix up on the chart, the light blue line is the stock TQ numbers, and the dark blue line is the Renntech TQ numbers, as we can see, they have the numbers for the TQ backwards as the dark blue line is clearly making more power than the light blue line.
