Bought a Mercedes from a dealer in California, am in Virginia. Where do I sue them?
Need advice. I bought a Mercedes that I found online and liked from a major dealership in California and had the car delivered closed carrier to me here in Virginia. I like the car. Problem is, the dealer hasn't sent the title, so I can't register it here in my state, and now they're basically ignoring me. No answers to emails, voicemail is always full, and they never call back. It's been about 40 days now. The car is just sitting there, gathering dust. I paid cash for it, btw, so I don't see why it should be such a problem for them to send the title.
I'm thinking it's about time that I should begin looking for an attorney. My question is, do I need a local Virginia attorney or a California attorney? And what do I sue them for, reversal of transaction, cost of shipping the car back and forth coast-to-coast, and legal expenses? Does that sound about right?

I would hop on a plane, fly to the dealership, and punch the general manager or the salesman you dealt with in the mouth...
