Does anyone work for a MB dealership service department?
Hello there! I have a job interview for a service advisor position at a local MB dealership this afternoon. Just hoping for some tips, advise, or insight into what I can expect for the position if I am offered the job. I'm a 25 year old woman with experience as a service writer for a heavy equipment company. Thanks in advance.

You will find the automotive industry works in a way where everybody is in an adversarial position with everyone else. Very little cooperation between different departments., the manufacturer, the dealer, and the customer. My poor advice is to recognize that the customer just wants their car fixed, the dealer is trying to make money off every visit, and the manufacturer wants to pay nothing at all. Good luck!
