Actually, I think that link is correct in calling the GL a 2007 model. If I remember correctly MBZ always has termed it as a 2007 model (production after June 2006) -- but "2008" was definately wrong, which was the original post, right?
...and boy, aren't you a stickler for detail?!!!!! :) |
mbusa has it listed as a 2007 model, due to be released in spring/summer 2006.

I think MB releasing cars (as next year models) early on the production year (currant) is complete bullsh*t.
I ordered new (taken delivery on October 1st, 2003), my 2004 Sports Sedan. In Dec 2003, the 2004.5's came out with better wheels, the suspension fixed, and shorter throw shifter and exhaust....then in may of 2004 the "2005" models came out with a revamped interior. That REALLY pissed me the f**K off, and I think MB should stop this crap of releasing cars/suv's early to boost sales. JUST MAKE BETTER CARS and keep people happy that way...... [/rant over] |
It is just life, and MBZ. Best advice is to always wait 6 mos after the introduction of any new model.....
