Service Menu Vin # Shows Junk Characters
I just bought a 2012 GL450, in the service menu the Vin # shows junk characters. Is this a sign that its been tampered with or is it normal?

your 2012 is still under warranty. bring it in. they will either recode the cluster or replace it.
