About to take delivery on a '07 GL320cdi with a $1500 discount off MSRP. While I thought that originally was fair a few weeks ago, I now realize that with the '08's here by August, my '07 will be a year old - while I owned it for 6 weeks - the deprecation will be to high with only $1500 off?
I plan on keeping the car no more then a year, 10K miles or so and then sell it in CA where after 7,500 it is legal to register and buy the GL320.
So my question is...what is a fair discount off the GL320? I do not need the car immediately, but the correct discount would motivate me to take an '07 over an '08.
Thoughts?
