finally here are some pictures of the tint I got done and the GL with the Carlsson lowering module. For some stupid reason Carlsson sent their older model module and we didnt get a great drop out of it (i think like an inch) so they are going to be giving me the new one once their shipment comes in. I can definitely feel that the car is lower when I get in and out and while I am driving, but I dont know if it shows up great in the pictures, you be the judge. Happy Holidays all, and the Brabus sport exhaust will be installed first week of 08 and I will have pix up of that shortly after.

Looks great! Now i know for sure there is no need to up my wheels to 22's. Fills the fenders nicely. Any difference in ride quality?

20% over the factory tint in the rear and 30% on the front drivers and passenger side.

I havent noticed any real difference yet just a tiny bit stiffer.

Darn, CL. Which state you live in? In CA that kind of tint in the front will add extra 30 to 60 minutes to your drive everyday since all the patrol officers would like to admire it up close and personal

I am in california. Its interesting because I did get a speeding ticket a few days ago and I was driving with all the windows up and the officer didnt say anything about it. But I do know its a big risk and it does look a lot darker in the pictures then it really is when it comes to the front tint.

Where? I am in LA (SFV). I want to see a tinted GL in person since I am thinking about it too. And, talking of tickets, I just had picture taken on Friday at an intersection in Santa Clarita. Guess I will be getting a present in mail in 2 months

You have an absolutely stunning ride there. But you definitely need to consider the chrome door handle inserts. Saves your paintwork from nails and really will dress up your car. Have and expert install them!

I've got my front wondows tinted lighter than back factory tint (or "legal" level). Makes car a lot cooler from outside in and inside out

Tint looks fantastic. I wish I could do that but I think I would get pulled over every two seconds in NY/NJ

I am sure they do but its not extreme. When I get the new module I will get an alignment just in case.

What tint % did you go with on the rear which are already tinted and the front?

They just put the same % that the rear comes stock (doubled up) and I believe 35% in the front.

GL looks great! I'm slowly learning about GL's and had a question about the wheels. I saw this style listed on eBay in both OEM 20" and OEM 21". is that correct - that this style comes in 2 sizes or is one of the ads wrong? What size are yours? Thanks.

I'm looking at a 09 GL 450 and will need to change the stock 19's quick.
