Congrats, GMW. Enjoy in good health, as NJ would say :)

What wheels are those? I like them. A lot.

Are those TSW Bremmas? They look great on the GL!! I remember another member on the forum has them too. :y

Enjoy the new ride. What options did you get?

cablvr Mar 19, 2008 09:32 PM

GMW - a great looking ride. Congrats! Like others have already mentioned, your shoes really stand out. Info please. I have never seen the "V 8" badge before on a GL. Is that unique to your M-B market (which is somewhere Old World I see)?

Post the list of opts please.

Great catch, cablvr.

Come on, GMW, inquiring minds want to know :)

Suffwan Mar 19, 2008 10:18 PM

congrats man, thats awesome. what alloys are those? they look amazing!

scottybdiving Mar 19, 2008 11:07 PM

I don't usually like mods but those wheels look very nice. What are the specs?

Greul Mar 20, 2008 03:36 AM

Nice ride. What options? I just picked up my GL 320 last Saturday and thoroughly love the vehicle as well. Again, congrats!:y

GMW Mar 20, 2008 04:25 AM

Thanks!!!

Thanks everyone!!! :D

I am not sure which brand the alloys are. They are 22inch with 305/40 R22 tyres. All I knew was they looked like the AMG style IV rims and similar to what I had on my C280 and I liked them a lot on that car. The V8 badge is a dealer option. I saw it on a friends new G500 and thought why not, especially with the 22s on my GL.

Specs/Options:

Tanzanite Blue Metallic with Cashmere Beige leather

Parktronic
Auto tailgate
Reversing camera
Harman Kardon Sound system
6-disc changer
Sunroof
Pre-installation for phone
Bluetooth puck for my iphone
Rear seat entertainment system
Ipod integration kit (soon to be fitted)
Voice control for phone/COMAND
Tinted, infrared-reflecting laminated glass
Tinted glass for rear windows
22inch AMG style IV alloys with 305/40 R22 tyres
Rear A/C
Fronts seats with memory
Neck Pro
Trailer Coupling
Offroad styling package front and rear metal plates

That's what I can remember.

I've got a feeling that the wheels are TSW Bremma: http://www.tsw.com/alloy_wheels_bremma.php

You chose the right exterior color too. :D

Thanks! I just got it registered this past weekend and have been enjoying it since. What a nice drive! Every day I drive it the more I like it. It's smooth, quiet and powerful. I expect to post more pics soon and can only hope they are at least half as good as yours! :y

blittle Apr 1, 2008 03:20 PM

Enjoy.....! After 16,000 miles on mine, I still enjoy the ride and know I made the right choice!
