POI's on a 2011 GL Command Unit

I can't seem to find any way to search the POI's for specific stores or businesses. For instance, is there a way to search within a specified area for Best Buy?

Unfortunately, the NAV system is really a complete joke. Every time I search for a POI and then select by name (in your case Best Buy), I get listed a location that is sometimes thousands of miles away from where I'm currently located. Is this for real or what? Why can't it be smart enough to ask "by location" as well? Then, if you change your search to "by location", you can't select "by name", so if the particular store you are looking for is not nearby, chances are it won't be listed. In conclusion, the MB NAV is the most archaic NAV system I have ever seen in any car. The "voice command" on it is the only thing saving it from disgrace. As a long time benz owner, I'm embarrassed to say that.

Thanks guys,

It looks like Mbrace is the only option.

From the mbusa.com: "Point of Interest Destination Download*
Plan routes on the fly with accurate directions to any of the more than 15 million Points of Interest (POIs) - such as nearby restaurants or gas stations - in the mbrace database. Just push the i-Button in your vehicle, and you'll be connected to an mbrace Customer Specialist, who will assist you in selecting the POI that best meets your needs and transmit its address to your navigation system. (1) Then you can use the navigation system to generate a route to your POI based on the vehicle's current location."
