GL 450/ 550 Fuse Chart

Last week I was messing with some wires that connect to the middle front cigarette lighter. Anyways, I believe I shorted the wires and that may have led to a blown fuse. However, I don't know which fuse or fuse box to check.

May someone please post a picture or send me the fuse chart for a 2008 Mercedes GL? I have a 2008 GL550 and desperately am in need of the fuse chart. I'm assuming the 450 should have a similar fuse chart.

There should be a fuse chart in the rear storage compartment (where spare usually is). Fuse is probably on the passenger side or rear compartment area.

Sorry, I forgot to mention. I got the car used, chart was missing at the time of purchase. I've just pulled and tested all the fuses on the passenger side. However, in the back there are too many fuses.

I'm in the same boat and my parts guy couldn't find a part # to order one for me. If somebody could scan one, I'd appreciate it.

On my 2007 GL450 the "cigar lighter" fuse is #46-15amp, which is located "in the trunk,on the right side".

Just replaced blown fuse#46 in the trunk (15 amp). Appears that only the ash tray lighter outlet is on this fuse and it is only powered with the ignition. The other three 12v outlets appear to be powered all the time. Be sure to switch the ignition ON when you are testing for power in the ash tray.

Please read through the entire thread. If you had, you would have already gotten your information :)

Looking for help here too....None of my 12v cigar lighters seem to work, but I checked fuse 46 and seems to be just fine. The 120V power in the trunk works, but thats about it.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks all

There was mention above about some outlets only working with accessory power. Have you tried that? Double check you're looking at the right fuse, as well. If still a no-go, check for power (again... may need accessory power on) on the supply side of the fuse. If you're sure which is supply or load, just check both sides. Got 12+ there?
