2012 GL's
 

Any news on the 2012 GL's? When does the building begin? Any photo's? Any price changes? Any differences between the 2011 and the 2012? I ordered a 2012 GL350 in May hoping to be one of the first in line for this vehicle. Any post would be greatly appreciated.

Don't expect too much changes for MY12. If you want a completely new design then wait for 2013 when new, 2nd-generation GL will be coming out. May be some minor exterior and interior trim updates and a new colour or two. Other than that I can't see much change is coming. Also I don't expect the new diesel engine like the all-new ML. You'll see that in the next gen GL.

WHAT new diesel engine?

Just a retune of the current engine to higher power, likely in both models.

WHAT exactly don't you understand?? I never said the new diesel engine is completely brand new. New = revised 3.0L turbo-diesel good for 240 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque.

As mentioned, no major changes. A couple minor changes - it will get the horn honk when locking feature (same as other non-Alabama models), quieter locking/unlocking operation, etc.

Good I just got mine, I hate when I buy a car and they change it up on me next year. :)
