Swirl motor mod , how to know if in the open position ?
Hi guys
Trying to diagnose a problem I thought it was a bad filter
Fast forward
The intake runner motor fuse keeps on burning , was told to put a diode
To bypass it but the runners need to be on the open position
I can push the arm on the pass side towards the windshield and feel the resistance of the motor
Does that Mean it is on the open position?
Thanks

Out Of Control!!
I would think you need a resistor not a diode.
I have seen mention of a 4.7K ohm (Found one write up that said 1k to 10K worked, so he picked 4.7K)
As for the open, vs. closed, there is much written in the Jeep CRD forum on this issue.
(Seems Jeep people are more willing to try cheap workarounds then MB people)
