New to this forum. I have airmatic errors when scanned showed code 5503. Dealer was recommending compressor and valve block change. I had some issues with some of the service at the dealership so decided to try myself or find an indy.


I seem to randomly get airmatic fault. I have not seen any sagging, however when I tried to raise the car today, it did not seem to raise and I received a message about the compressor cooling down. I would appreciate any advice, I was planning to change the compressor and possibly valve block with a arnott unit. Was not sure if the valve alone could be a culprit.


One final thing noticed after getting the compressor cooling message I noticed the PF tire seemed to have little spots of oil that I could wipe off, looked like sprayed through fender well, which I am guessing came from the compressor.


I have searched the archives and youtube but have not found any DIY or tips on changing. Again any advice would be appreciated.
