Gl350 battery died acting funny

Gl350 battery died acting funny
I have a 2011 gl350 diesel, I left the keys in it turned on (engine off) by accident overnight and when I came back to it the next day the battery was completely dead.
After charging it and getting it started I have drove it a few times but I've noticed some weird stuff :
1. Windows acting funny, 1 touch up or down only works like 10% of the time, sometimes the window goes all the way up then starts coming down on its own
2. Radio won't shut off automatically after turning the car off and removing the key and exiting the car
3. Volume up and down buttons on steering wheel won't work with volume but do work with changing settings in the menu
4. Several things in the on board computer in dash show -- instead of info
5. Backup camera won't come on when put into reverse
Any ideas how to fix? Thanks in advance

Couple things:
1. Make sure your battery is still good. If older and fully discharged it might not come up to speed ever again even if you fully charge it.
2. If battery is good, you might need to disconnect the battery, wait couple minutes and reconnect it. The slow drain and then charge might have left things in your truck in a state of flux and a clean power off on might be needed.

Hey pteam,
I think the windows need to be relearned (manual pg 106)
The door windows must be synchronized after
the battery has been disconnected or if the
door windows cannot be fully closed (express
operation).
Each door window must be synchronized
separately.
X Close all doors.
X Switch on the ignition.
X Pull and hold switch :, ;, = or ?
(Y page 105) until the respective door
window is closed.
The door window opens again slightly.
X Pull and hold the respective switch once
more immediately until the door window is
closed completely.
X Hold the respective switch for
approximately 1 second.
The door window is synchronized.
2 - I recall you were part of that group buy for the DVD in motion. I once found I needed to disconnect it and allow the vehicle to sync to the radio properly and to set the time on the car. After that, you can plug it back in and should be all good.
3 & 4 See if the above remedies those concerns.

Great memory nynd!
Just notice my backup camera isn't coming on either when going into reverse. Gonna try disconnecting the battery first then I'll try your suggestions. I've been thinking about trading it in for leasing a new small to mid size SUV. I liked the Look of the Range Rover évoque but they were a bit small.

Disconnecting the battery fixed all the problems! Thanx a lot Alx, now I don't have to sell the car. Haha
