Anyone have this same issue. When the outside temperature start warming up the mirror is very loose and wiggles, and won't stay in set placement. Any fixes out there without having to replace it?

Mine is not loose, but it has a bit of an annoying noise when going over rough terrain....

I am sure there is a simple, yet noticible solution. I will take a look tonight.

I have EXACTLY the same issue. The rearview drifts all over, worse as the temperature rises. I was told it couldn't be fixed without replacing the mirror. Hard to swallow $800 that!

Same problem here. It's mostly an issue for me in the summer when I'm using a windshield sun shade and the slightest touch sends it way off. I had figured replacement would be expensive, so I never bothered to ask.

Did you get an estimate from an Independent service mech instead of the stealer?
