66.56mm vs 66.6mm bore

Guys,

Its seems like most aftermarket/Replica are coming in 66.6mm bore when the OEM are 66.56mm.

Will the difference or .04mm cause vibration issues?

I don't know if I can help, but... ummm... what exactly are you referring to? "Aftermarket/replica" WHAT?

Oh, and you do realize that .04mm is quite a bit less than the average human hair diameter, right? Maybe the "aftermaket" whatever-it-is is rounding?

The question I am asking is this:

Factory wheel bore is 66.56mm and the replica wheels i bought is 66.6mm, Will a wheel bore of .04mm cause vibration when driving?

Ah... and the key word is... "WHEELS"! That was a very important piece of the puzzle. In that case, see what I wrote above in regards to the size difference.

^Agreed^,

0.4mm is nothing, just be sure the replica wheels lip(where the wheel seat), doesn't has any gap, put one without any bolt, and try to moving it up/down, should not move at all..!

ZAYED,,

It's actually only a 0.04 of a MM difference.

Did you ever find out if you can put original center caps on aftermarket wheels?

Well, aftermarket wheels are always cheaper and perhaps to save they have simply conserved keystrokes by rounding up to the nearest tenth. They should have the integrity to not sell you a wheel they call a Mercedes fitment that won’t actually work on a Mercedes.

Don't worry, be happy.

If a particular aftermarket wheel is designed to accept them, then yes. If not, then no. All depends on the particular wheel. Best way to find out is to ask the company.
