Question Noise between 20 and 25 MPH

I have a 2011 GL450 with about 57K on it. Every time I start moving from a stop, I get a noise from the front end, only between 20 and 25 MPH. The best way I can describe it is a warble, almost like something is both shaking and spinning at the same time. Never happens at any other speed. If I'm getting on the highway it happens quickly and ends, driving less aggressively it happens slower. Reminds me of the noise you got from the driveshafts on old 80's RWD cars. Drove a 1988 300SE that did this.

Any thoughts? I hope to one day know enough about this car to actually contribute back some information!

Thanks All.

Rotate tires and see if it goes away. If it doesn't it could be bearings, half shafts, front differential in that order

Will do. The tires are getting replaced in October anyway along with the Service B, so I'll check back after that's all done and let you know how I come out.

Thanks!

Replaced the tires and rotated the rims - still get the noise. It goes in for Service B with a Mercedes tech I really trust in a couple months so I'll ask him and report back.
