Shift points moved to 2500 RPM after dealer did Trans service

Hey folks, Its a diesel and used to shift at 1800 - 2k RPM .. now it feels weird to see that engine rev up to 2500 even on slightest throttle blip - I've lost 2, 3 Mpg and hear the engine roar right from the driveway... Is that how your trucks too ? (diesel v6 ones only)

thanks

dealer has reset tcu adaptations. drive normally and in about 100 miles it should be back to its old shifting patterns

hm... at 400 miles adaptations should be roughly in already. at light throttle on flat surface lower gears suld shift around 2100 rpms on the w221 om642 motor when atf is fully warmed up. what is your behavior?

if shifting at higher rpms i would check atf temp with star/ das and make sure you are reaching it.

Maybe it's best to post a video but just going with normal traffic flow from a red light the truck consistently revs to 2500 in the first 2 gears atkeast ... before the dealer changed trans oil I remember it used to shift around 1800 or 2k ... I dont have star diagnostics, is there a secret menu to check atf temp ? I'll take it back to the dealer also but we all know what they're gonna say
