anyone put 305/45-20s ?

Hello, I found this tire size very close to the oem diameter, question is has anyone tried these on and how did airmatic respond to them ? Did the ride get uncomfortable not that it's already pleasant lol ... I feel our trucks need some more meat in the tires to handle little better and brake better but I don't want wife to rant all the time about harsh ride lol
Pls advise thanks

I run 305/40/22's and the ride is.great. The wider tiresl handle much better too. I did not run the numbers but make sure your profile is not too low.

What's about a 285/40/22 or 295/45/22 on 22x10.50 rims? I don't know if I like that mushroom look that the 305's give.

the steering is still soft and effortless ? any harshness on bumps, our roads are bad here

Stock size is 275/50/20 - I want to stay as close as possible diameter wise, 305/45/20 is matching pretty good.. I dont want to go 22' route, its a diesel and sluggish as is I dont want to add weight

The 285/40/22 is nearly identical diameter though.

It's good. The lower sidewall gives it better handling without being too rough. It wollowed like a pig with the stock rims and tires.

That's a 285/35/22, a 40 series would be fine, as others have said. When you have, key word, air suspension, it soaks everything up and is magic.

Oh, that's not mine, lol. That's just a pic of the style rim I like. Trying to decide still on the perfect one. It will be a 5 star style though, in 22x10.5 front and rear.

I have the chrome roof rails, but I don't have the cross bars, and I want them! I saw a GL with them and it's crazy how much more TOUGH it made the truck look.
