dealer transmission service?

They will replace about half of the oil, replace filter and put new tranny pan bolts.
If you ask them specifically they can also drain the tq converter and thus replace about 4/5 of the oil. This will cost you extra of course

Check this out... There's this really cool thing that has numbers on it. They range from zero to nine. If you press the numbers in the right sequence, you will be almost immediately connected to a LIVE person that you can converse with and have an actual, real-life conversation with. You can ask them that specific question you are wondering about and they can give you a specific answer. Have you heard of this "thing" that can perform this magic? It's called a telephone.
OK, so I'm having a little fun with you, albeit it at your expense. But in all seriousness, your question really is better off answered by your local dealer. It's a very general question and you will find out SPECIFICALLY what is done, for your money, by calling them directly.

FYI, I'm nearing the end of my third rum and coke.
EDIT: And... having ALX on this forum is a blessing. He's like that invaluable, go-to, multi-tool that you are so glad you remembered to bring along with you on that camping trip. It has just what you need to get you out of a bind. The fact that he takes his UNPAID time to help us out is fantastic.

I just got this done, it was $595 but out the door $650 .. they invoiced 16 quarts of atf at $25 a piece, filter, torque converter drain and fill, new bolts gasket etc ... however when I called to ask why 16 qrts when the fluid capacity is 9 or 9.5, they didn't have a straight answer
that's exactly the thing that came to my mind

Some dealers will flush through the transmission cooler of presented. The procedure is akin to dialysis and if done right might take 12-15 quarts.
However if the invoice includes new pan bolts it was done the old fashion way and they should have charged you for max of 10 quarts fluid. I would raise the issue.
