'12 GL450 In-dash Changer Jammed

My wife's '12 GL has a jammed in dash CD changer, says loading but never does. Reading up, seems like homemade burns are a bad idea in this unit and indeed my wife was listening to a disk her sister made for her. I'm thinking if we can get it out, we're okay. How best to get it ejected? Should I cut the battery power for a few minutes, will that reset it briefly and give me a chance to eject? Thanks in advance.

No, it's a multi-disk changer and all the disks including the CD-R were reading fine. I'm really only guessing it's the CD-R as that's the only report like this I've been able to find. But no, can't see anything, nothing going in or coming out.

Your going to have to do one of a few things.

Unplug power to unit via fuse removal etc.

Remove head unit and remove cd.

The system is very sensitive to cheap cds etc
