Will these fit on my GL450 without issue? 285/50R20
Hi!
I'm in the process of getting rid of my stock rims and tires and swapping it out for some amg rims. I'm currently running 275/50/ZR20 109W
Will 285/50R20 fit all around on my GL450 without problems? Is anyone running the same?
Ill be putting on Hankook Ventus AS 285/50R20 116.
I originally wanted 21's, but decided to stick with 20's.

Changing wheels/ tires
Hi- I've done some significant research in this area and still have mot received definitive responses. The short answer to your question is "perhaps". They will fit fine on a 20"X8.5" rim with a 62mm offset. But when you change rim widths & offsets it gets tricky as MB provides zero support in terms of info to dealers/consumers. I was told by a MB parts manager to try one (@ $1100 a rim) & see if it works. What a joke. I wanted to put GLE sport package rims on my GL but still can't tell if they will fit. Good luck with your upgrade.

Thanks for the reply. I actually switched out of my stock wheels and I did not like the ride and how it felt. Plus, I didn’t like how it looked. I thought it would look good. The stocks seem better looking. Not to mention I needed to get the tpms programmed again at the dealer since I was getting an error message. I need to get those dull not shiny rims. Now I have to sell these rims.
