One of the air spring bag poped on my 2009 GL 550 after week on driving.

Anybody had good luck with replacing a set of aftermarket bags on GL 550?

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

I'm looking to buy new pair.

$87 for two bags? Me thinks you get what you pay for. But the add says "Highest quality, Best Value, Guaranteed!"... so it must be good, right? What did the manufacturer say about a replacement?

This topic has been almost beaten to death and there are many threads about this if you wanted to search. Or, buy the Arnott brand.

On a side note... how the heck did you get them that dirty after just a week? You must have been having some fun!

thank you for the quick responds. I called Mercedes and it cost $470 each.

what you think of these bags?
i'm driving normally... lately we had a lot of snow and dirt melting down thats why its so dirty.

Ah, the dirty snow... yeah, that gets everywhere REAL quick.

Personally, I have never heard of that brand you linked to - so I can't offer an opinion one way or the other. Have you checked out other threads or Arnott?

Your seller says they are warranted for 10 years. I would send that photo to him.

Note to self - sent Arnott a thank you letter for the piece of mind they provide with their products.

On the real.....leave those off brands alone and go with Arnott.
