gl320 heated steering wheel ot working when really cold

Hi Guys my heated steering wheel does not work when really cold . it turns on for like 2 seconds then turns off
it work great when temp is around freezing mark.
is there some sort of sensor I need to clean ?like a int temp sensor? if so where is it?
