No acceleration, white smoke, won't start when engine is hot

My 2008 Diesel GL320 CDI has gone into a limp mode, and it gives white smoke (exhaust), and it won't start when the engine is hot. I'm getting these DTC codes when i scan the car (tried to clear them but they come back almost immediately):
P2009 - Intake Manifold Runner Control Circuit Low Bank 1a
P0489 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Control Circuit A Low
P0111 - Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit Range/Performance
P0100 - Mass or Volume Air Flow A Circuit
P0675 - Cylinder 5 Glow Plug Circuit/Open

Any help/suggestion would be appreciated.

Is it possible all those DTC codes to be triggered by the same malfunction part? How can i go about troubleshooting the problem to pinpoint where the issue could be coming from?

Thank you in advance.

I can't say if this is for sure the case on diesels, but generally white smoke on a gas motor means that a head gasket has failed. The white smoke is coolant being sucked into the combustion chamber and burned.

White smoke on a Diesel also is almost always water in the fuel. I would purge the fuel filter and see what quality the fuel is, i use a clear bottle.

On the intake manifold runner the intake modulator motor is either stuck or or bad. The others are likely stand alone codes,
