Cigarette lighter outlet cover in rear console
I just bought a 2011 GL450 and I'm trying to chase down some missing interior bits. The 12v cover for my cigarette lighter in the rear console is the first. I can't find this part anywhere online but rather the entire assembly from the dealer only. Do they make a cover for it standalone? I have a toddler I don't want sticking things in it.
Thanks for reading.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Don't know the specific answer, but, that toddler must have awful long arms to reach all the way down there from their car seat!
Google for "baitwell plug" or "expanding plug"... probably a longer term solution as compared to a plastic cover that is just going to break again. Or even put a flush-mount USB adapter in there.

LOL no she has a knack for climbing into the car in the garage. Makes her Dad proud but worrisome at exposed outlets. Preventative measure in addition to the OCD of having missing components.
