Still lurking - More questions x164 available safety options
Alright so I was looking at some Diesels and 450s some time back, and still am, but have added some 550's as they have come down some in price.
Need clarification on what options were available and when.
one option my wife said it has to have, is Blind spot and lane departure.
Is Lane departure even available on the x164?
Seems blind spot was only available on '11 and '12 is that correct?
I know distronic is a rare option on any x164 did they upgrade to distronic plus for the later years or is it always going to be the lower original style distronic. I found a '12 GL350 that seems fully optioned, (active climate seats, Rear A/C, Blind spot, even distronic, and was curious if it was the plus version, and didn't see in the vindecoder if there was lane keeping (though I might have missed it)
I am getting tempted to just start looking at the x166's because they have all the options I am looking for availabe, and the sweet sweet M278 motor, but they are a bit more pricey.

E55, GLS450, GL63, GLE350
X166's are getting cheap. I like my 164 450 but my 166 GL63 is a whole other level. The 2013 & 14 450's are a good buy since they have the bi-turbo V8's and they can be tuned for GL63 type power.
