Rear Wheel Bearing Replacement
Hello All!
Hope someone can help with this. My 20018 GL450 was recently diagnosed with 2 bad wheel bearings. $900 bucks a piece. As someone mechanically inclined (work on Jet Engines), and have changed wheel bearings before (Ford Explore, Nissan Maxima), I feel like with the proper instructions, I could probably do this job myself. I wouldn't mind replacing the entire hubs and bearings together if that's easier. I just need information on how the come apart, what tools are needed, what to look out for, etc.
If anyone can lead me to a write up on this, it will be greatly appreciated.
