Airmatic Height Calibration/Adjustment

Does anyone know the correct height measurements for airmatic? I did air suspension calibration and the rear sits considerably lower.

I need the correct measurements so I can manually input them to adjust for a correct height.
thanks in advance for your help

I guess no one seems to know about the most failing part on Mercedes vehicles.

Ride Height setting

Just in-case anyone finds this thread looking for same thing; I did for a very long time: Ride height cannot be measured against ground to any point of the vehicle as it will change based on tyre type/size/wear.
To set levels correctly, you need to measure the angle of each of the lower control arms. There are little mounds to locate your level/angle measuring device on, then adjust the airmatic suspension height until you get the correct angle specific for your vehicle on each of the control arms. It's a hell of a lot easier to have an angle sensor mounted on each control arm at the time of setting the ride height, as setting one corner to correct level, then the next will change the one you've already set, and so on, and so on. It can seem like your chasing your tail for most of the time by going 1 wheel at a time, so set 1, measure the height from ground to a point on that corner, (fender will do), then set all other corners to that height. Some vehicles will be higher at the rear, so you may need to set an angle on the rear separately to get height measurement to work with. Then start on the angles corner by corner. That way you won't chase your tail for 2 days.

Note: As you are working with angles over the length of the control arm, I can't stress enough that you will need to make sure the surface your vehicle is parked on is perfectly level between ALL 4 wheels as having less than 1deg difference can make a world of difference to the overall correct suspension settings. (I used a laser level so all 4 spots could be measured without moving level) and your steering is dead centre. (0deg steering angle when looking at steering with your analyser). Lock your steering wheel in position with a tiedown strap to the brake pedal.

Plus make sure you are setting the heights in the correct area of your analyser, as with mine (Autel), there are 2 areas that tell you it's the correct area for initial setup, and both screens are identical, but one will constantly fail when you attempt to save the new settings. Then when you goto/find correct setup screen, you need to start again as the vehicle will reset to currently stored settings as soon as you escape out of suspension CU looking for correct programming screen.

Hope my learnings help someone.

Cheers.

I use DAS to do an auto calibration on a level surface.
I then measure distance from the center of each wheel arch to the deck.
Rarely have I found them to be out of whack, but if they are - find the mean and calibrate the outliers up or down to it.

Unfortunately the 797mm / 802mm measurement in these sketches don't seem to correspond with a bumper, panel or other level.

I think the idea is to measure all the angles with the vehicle at the zero position, calibration will then use the angles measured to reset the zero position, I would expect it to need doing two or three times to get it correct, having said that if you measure and all is within tolerance then it doesn't need doing.

Even after calibration the sensor voltages and height measurements will vary between one another. The proof is the height measurement from the center of the wheel arch down to the lower lip of the rim. If those are even your car is calibrated.
