Radiator fan won’t run GL450

Just purchased a 2010 gl450. Noticed the radiator fan doesn’t ever run. It’s quite cold where I live right now, so not a real problem immediately, but need to fix it soon.
Anyway, I unplugged the 4 prong connection once with engine cold, ignition on, but not running and then replugged. After replugging, the fan ran for a few seconds and shut off. Could not replicate this however.
I’m guessing it’s either the temp sensor or the fan module. Hoping it’s the sensor, as it’s much less expensive.
Where exactly is the temp sensor on this model?

Now just one GL450 with EORP.
Neither does mine, and temps never exceed 90C.
I live in the Pacific Northwest and the fan only comes on on scorcher days, like 85F and above.
