Hello,
So I replaced my amp a few years ago and it was working perfectly fine. Recently after it rains the sound goes out. I have checked the amp under the driver’s seat and it’s dry and no corrosion. I am thinking water is getting into the quarter panels where the rear sam as I see water pooling u on top of the subwoofer. There are zero codes on Mercedes Star.. anyone have this issue? Where else can I look?

Thank you for the response. So I noticed that there is water getting into both sides of the quarter panels. I also am in the middle of taking off both rear interior quarter panels to inspect the electronics (Sam). The issue I am having is that I don’t see updated rear tail lights gaskets like the w164 model. Lastly I have read that the water could be coming from the roof rack bolt holes..

Thank you for the response. So I noticed that there is water getting into both sides of the quarter panels. I also am in the middle of taking off both rear interior quarter panels to inspect the electronics (Sam). The issue I am having is that I don’t see updated rear tail lights gaskets like the w164 model. Lastly I have read that the water could be coming from the roof rack bolt holes..
There are multiple potential points of entry. The roof rack, definitely. The panoramic roof panel is another, as is the sunroof.
