Audio and backup camera for 2007 GL450

Howdy. Lucked out as a buddy sold me his 2007 GL450 with only 75k miles as he has other vehicles. Looking to make some changes (added running board so far and picked up some rims). I have not really figured out everything about the car yet but like to get an integrated audio unit that has a back up (and front?) camera and allows me to car play or use bluetooth with my iphone. Any suggestions on something easy to use and not every expensive? It seems to have the Harmon system and also TVs in back if that matters.

I use to wonder who needs this technology with back up cameras, bluetooth, etc and now laugh that I am even asking this LOL.

Thank you in advance for any and all recos!!

PS...I also recently found an ipod jack in the glove! HA. So i bought a ipod to ightning adapter to try and play from my iphone (13). No luck as music was still playing on phone when I hit the AUX button on the command center. Any advice on that too?

Now just one GL450 with EORP.
Music still playing your phone is a lightning jack/port issue with your phone.

regardless of whether I am in aux or the lightning, jack is actually hooked up to anything, the second I insert anything into my IPhone14 it shifts the output

You gotta turn up the sending unit volume pretty loud as well as the volume on the command system.

The RCA in Jack is my favorite feature of the whole car.

He's talking about the 3.5mm plug in the glove box.

oh hey, I just reread this. If you’re talking about connecting an iPhone to the iPod jack that has never worked for me.

what does work is iPhone with a lightning to 3.5mm adapter into the 3.5mm plug in the upper left side of the glove box opening.

erroneously described, it’s actually actually a 3.5 mm standard audio in-plug.

Thanks. Found out last night that unforunatley I don’t have a aux jack inside glove box because I have the entertainment system in back of seats which takes its place.

Thought I tried to save women bucks but onward to looking for unit to replace factory.

Can you believe Crutchfield is still around? Spoke with them and they were super helpful. Deciding between a Alpine and Sony unit they will give me car play and back up camera
