GL is back on the road with new pads and rotors. But SA said he would not be surprised if I'm back again. So I guess the engineers in Germany are still trying to figure this issue out. This has to cost them millions. Oh well as far as I'm concerned they will replace every time they go 3-5k because I'm sure I will be back as many times as it needs new brakes. Good luck to all.

Took wifey's GL350 in for the "A" service at 10,000 miles.

Front brake pads and rotors replaced under warranty.

I don't drive the GL very often, so can't really say if the problem is gone or not.

Probably will return judging by the experiences the other owners have posted here.

Not acceptable on $10,000 vehicle let alone a $80,000+ vehicle.

Seems pretty much most of the posts in this thread are 450 owners. I would assume the 350 has the same issue?

The GL350 has different and smaller rotors. The warping issue was with the ML550 and GL450/550 with the 14.7" cross drilled rotors.

smaller rotors only apply to U.S market, my 350 has the exact same brakes as the 550.

The brakes and rotors have been updated and you should not have the issue any longer, try not to pay attention to the troll as MB brakes are not made in China and customer service is their top priority. It has to be with all the competition.
