Purchasing A 2014 GL450 next week Need Tips on Pricing!
Hi I'm from Houston, Tx and i'm planning on purchasing a 2014 GL450 next week, I wouldn't mind a 2013 but the dealerships down here barely have 2014's available. I needed help on the drive out price. Dealers seem to be doing no negotiation on the price down here. If some people can give me tips and some info on how much they ended up paying and negotiation tactics for a GL with drive out that would be very helpful. Thanks!

GL has ton of options that make price comparison very difficult. Being able to get a discount depends heavily on your area. You should definitely ask for a discount off MSRP and try to get quotes from multiple dealers if there are more than one in your area. Also ask to see if you qualify for a Fleet discount (based on your place of work), I think it's at least $2K on GL. Good luck!

Also, if you are or can be a member of USAA, you'll get a $3k discount using their car buying service. At least you know there's $3k in discounts available so you could start there. If they can't keep them in stock you maybe out of luck.

Usaa, Penfed, AMA fleet discount is $2k for 2014. In so cal,fleet is about all you can get

AMG GT R and GLS 450
Costco has a car buying service, but it's not a fleet discount. Not all dealerships participate in the Costco service. There are no loyalty specials now on the GL for existing mb owners
