Rear passenger side soft close wont work

Rear passenger side soft close wont work
Has anyone had any of their soft close doors malfunction, my rear passenger side is no longer working... Looks like the car will be parked at the dealer for a few days.

The most "common" case is if there is anything that is caught in the door during soft-close - and that exceeds the "safe power range" for soft-close, then the system has a safety/deactivate that gets triggered..
The "less" common - which I have not personally seen but from tech bulletins can happen - is a mechanical failure..

Might as well get the extended warranty- Cant imagine 5 years down the road when the vehicle value has dropped from 115k to nothing and you have to pay $$$$$ for repairs.
So far
1) Battery died within 3 days of ownership
2) Rear seat cover lose and replaced
3) Windsheild wiper replaced twice
4) Soft close door broke
5) Dealer damaged rear bumber while going for first service and wont own up to it, over $1000 to repaint.
6) Power steering stiffens up sometimes, dealer cant seem to figure out what's wrong with it. Thought it was the Hydraulic pump but apparently it does not have one?
So far

nope, its at low speeds when trying to turn into a parking lot, driveway etc, well below 10 km/ 6mph. I know Bmw's had this issue and there was an option you could get on the vehicle which softened up the steering but the issue here is that is a new problem which was not happening before.
