I have it, although I would not have ordered it. It was on the car sitting in the showroom that I ended up buying. It somehow allows my daughter to look at a DVD on command screen with headphones while I am driving and looking at navigation or audio etc. from the drivers seat. It is uncanny --- similar to a hologram. So far it has been used only twice. I would not waste the $1000. Plus it is just another way to promote more screen time in with your kids/passengers.

In addition, it allows the front passenger to see what the command DVD player is playing on the Rear Entertainment System so that the front passenger can navigate through menus or watch what the kids are watching in the back (without stopping the car). I would have bought it but not for $1000. It is insane that it costs half what the RSE costs. If your kids can use the remote to navigate menus on the RSE then there is no real need for it other than for front passengers to watch videos.
