How to negotiate '14 GL 350 now?
I am currently in the market for a GL 350. I was looking to buy a new GL 350, but unfortunately there are currently 0 available in my choice color of Lunar Blue on the east coast (where I live).
I did some research on CarGurus and found some great choices on used 2014 models.
These models have 5-6k miles on them, but the price is still 65-70k.
Should I wait until January 2015 to buy the used car? Will the price go down in 2015? I read in Kelly Blue book that the GL 350 depreciates 12-17k the first year alone.
How should I negotiate this? Any help will be appreciated!
If you don't get the price you want, talk to another dealer
You'll always get a better price in 2015 on a 2014 but a) can you wait and b) do you want to risk giving up a car with the color and options you want and one that is available now?
I'm interested in a car which is listed above 65k, mileage is around 5k, its sold at a non-MB dealer
It has the following features:
Premium 1 package
Panoroma sunroof
Parking assist
climate control
leather seat
Should i start low at 50k? depreciation is around ~15 so thats a fair deal?

If you want the best deal get the auction values in your area for the past few weeks (make sure they are 350's and not all GLs). Bring that data to the dealer and see if you can convince them what the price should be.




There is no point of buying slightly used GL350.
