Just bought a used 2013 with 30k miles...want ECU tune.

Heya,

Just bought a fairly stripped 2013 with 30k miles on it.
It has P1 package and parking assist. That's about it.
The in service start date was 4/2013.
It is NOT CPO.

I would really like to get a MB Extended Warranty, but I realize I most likely will not be able to, since it is not CPO. I will certainly continue to try to though.

My main goal is to establish a good relationship with local Dealer/Service and get the ECU to latest revision and all systems up to current service levels.

Then I want to get an OETune or Renntech tune. Seems like OETune is much less expensive for same results, not sure why that is.

Questions:
1. Is there something that shows what service is required at 30k miles? Or is it just a ServiceA/ServiceB.
2. I'd like to determine if there are any outstanding ECU or TSB's that apply to my 2013 GL450. Is there a place to find that out?

You can take it to the dealer for service then have them check all open tsb. If your car isn't salvaged then you can extend the warranty before the 4 yr 50 expires.

Thanks Venom. Clean CarFax on it, so that is promising news.

To update thread regarding the Service Maintenance Schedule question:

Seems like a whole lot of expensive "checking".
I'll probably fall on the sword for a few of these to get to know the local service guys anyway.

apologies, as the boston location has recently closed.
