3-Zone Climate Question

hi everyone... I just recently ordered a pretty loaded 2015 GL450 but I didn't get 3zone climate. Not sure why I didn't because I plan to using the 3rd row often. Did I make a mistake not getting 3zone climate. Does anyone know if not getting the option means I don't have vents above in the 3rd row?

Correct, there are no upper vents without 3-zone. (FWIW, this is really only an issue with AC as the vents are only active with cooling.)

I had two zone in my x164 and my kids never complained. I'm not sure if it's still the same but the right front temperature dial also controlled the air temp coming out of the vents between the two front seats and under them in the second row. So if you or your spouse are driving your kids around and they want the temp adjusted in back, just turn the front passenger dial. At least hat's how it worked in my x164. The vent between the two front seats blows a lot of air into the back if you have two zone.

Same here. My kids/passengers never seemed to noticed.

BUT I will say that it's stupid for Mercedes to not have vents back there. Every other SUV in it's class does.
