A gaggle of MB's
1) A Curt aftermarket hitch + basic wiring hookup = estimated under $450 at a U-Haul location. They fit up hitch + basic wiring including brake/running-lights/turn-signals using a Modulite module w/hook-up to rear lights wiring. Often "best" hookup includes running hot lead back up to the battery. For "most" Curt installs their website has install instr and/or install videos for the hitch portion.
2) Check with your MB dealer for MB-hitch/MB-wiring harness - by VIN# they will also be able to tell you if you need rear SAM module as well. The factory wiring harness with proper SAM provides the MB/anti-sway. Now that harness does not come with printed wiring instructions - instr come from Star/MB-Tek - and runs about 5 "real" shop hrs.

If a wiring harness to front of car is necessary, sit down before they quote you a price. It's gonna be north of $2k, as just about the entire driver side of truck's interior has to be removed to install it. There is a video in German on Youtube somewhere that details the install.
