GL LEase question - MB Acquisition Fee
 

Hey Everyone - quick question, about to close the deal on a 2017 GLS450 with an $82K MSRP. My question is about dealer fees. Dealer is stating that the Acquisition Fee is now $1,095.00 from MB, plus the dealers $495 doc fees.

For my last GL, the acquisition fee was $495.00 (3 years ago). Any idea if this fee is in fact from MB financial? Seems very high.

I am leasing the car with a 14% off MSRP discount, which I think is pretty good. Thanks for the help.

Acquisition fee from MBUSA is $795. Dealers are however allowed to mark it up, as is seen in your case. This is something I would certainly negotiate back down. For verification of the actual cost, go to the MBUSA website, click on shopping tools, special offers offers, then offer details on any vehicle. In the fine print look for the line that says "Cash due at signing includes...".
