Roof Rails Delete
I wanted the rails gone, and the salesman said no problem. Service department said no problem. Because the roof rails are standard equipment, I specifically asked if they would need to order covers before they started. Service tech opened up the headliner, unbolted the rails, then realized they had no covers for the exterior roof where the rails attach, and worse, they say there is no such part available. Seriously!?!?!?
Has anyone removed them? Are you driving around with big holes in your roof?

Roof rails
Not sure if it will work, but I wanted to remove the roof rails from my Volvo XC-90 ( 2011) and I order the rubber grommets or covers to put into the roof holds once the rails were removed. Never did it and I think I finally threw them away. Check with Volvo and see what they have. They were black rubber. Good luck
