i just purchased 22 inch rims with 285/40 tires. Was wondering if installing 22 inch rims voids the original warranty. I’m keeping the stock rims and rubber. If I ever have to take it for warranty work should I put the stock set up back on.

It doesn't ... had the same setup on my 2012 GL450 with no issues from dealer. No need to swap out for service in my experience.

Not sure how MB works but I would check with the dealer if the odometer might need to be calibrated for that specific wheel size. Also, speedometer might read less than actual speed.

wheel set up

I was wondering if anyone have a wheel set up 22x9 32 offset with 285/40 22 rubber on a gl450 x166. Want to know if the wheel is more flush to the wheel well. If you have photos would love to see them. My wheels are coming in next week. I feel the rear wheels on the stock 20x8.5 inch wheels are to fat from the wheel well
