I have a 2014 GL450 and yet another piece of trim/plastic fell off. See attached picture - but it is the chrome trim (plastic) on the top of the keyless go door handle. (Passenger front). I am sure the dealer will tell me I need to buy an entire $250 door handle and then labor to install. Looking at the part number, the color paint - Palladium Silver is discontinued in that part too. Any idea where to find that trim cover alone that matches and fix inexpensively? I worry all these ebay sites that show the trim cover from China are going to be a waste of money. Appreciate any help.

Same issue on my 2016 E350. Drivers side door handle. Chrome cover fell off. Go door. Tried the cheap knock off and didnt fit. Dealer wants $350 to replace the whole handle. Any ideas? chrome cover
Did either of you guys find a part number on the chrome cover you needed? I have the same problem. If you found anything I would hugely appreciate info on your solution.
