Bong-Bong for no reason?
Hearing a Bong-Bong, not a bing-bing after the first few miles of driving. No indications at all on dash, no warning, nothing.
Driving straight, not over lines, no cars in view, nothing to detect.
I get the BONG and about 10-15 seconds another BONG. (deeper sound than the bing)
Dealer doesn't have a clue!
The only thing I can think of is that I had a low coolant warning several times that I said OK to. Could it be a reminder of that fault without a warning light?
BTW, they found the coolant leak after the 3rd try. It wasn't the infamous plastic "T" fitting under the hood, but a slow leak on a hose under the engine dripping on the belly pan, evaporating and not showing on the garage floor. It took 8K miles to drop 1" in the recovery tank.

Bong Bong warning
Today I wanted to figure out why I get a double "Bong" warning sound when I approach certain upgraded intersections with all the cameras/sensors with NO visual dash alert! At first I thought it was the phone, so I turned that off, no change. Next, I turned off the Command center and it stopped as I approached the same intersection (phone on). OK, now I will switch to NAV mode and see if I get a visual alert, NOPE!
Conclusion: There must be something at this intersection that causes the Command center to emit a "Bong" noise, not the usual "Ding" noise, but a lower double "Bong" noise. First Bong at about 100yds from the intersection and the second at the line. It does this in all directions at this particular intersection which has no buildings on all four corners for at least 1/8 mile. There is a cell tower within 300yds... (I can't imagine that's the cause). This intersection has all the new traffic sensing cameras on all lanes (5) and some kind of dome sensor on top of one of the light poles. It only happens at this particular intersection! Hmmmmm???
No visual warning on the instrument cluster or command screen.
Not a lane departure issue.
Not a no blinker issue going over the left turn lane lines.
Not a speed issue, no one in front of me and going slowly up to the line.
Not a low fuel warning!!! D'Oh! Like I said, NO visual warning anywhere!
Not a radar sensor issue on the road. Could be a license plate reader on the intersection, but I doubt that. Don't see one...
Not the "Take a break" warning or anything that gives you a visual dash warning like the dealer keeps referring to! (they must not be able to read very well)?
