COMAND Glitch?
Got into my 2015 GL450 4-Matic last night--unlocked fine, interior lights did not come on. Car started up fine, but COMAND system did not come on, nor did the heat/A/C. Dashboard displayed warnings about multiple nonfunctional monitoring systems. Vehicle would not shift out of park. Undriveable. Called and spoke to a service advisor who could only say "That's weird...that's really weird." This morning, everything was working fine. I saw a thread about a glitch with the CD/DVD players and needing to reset COMAND. The ONLY thing out of the ordinary is that I had a CD sitting in there for the past week or so. I've taken it out, and I reset the COMAND system. So far, so good. Any similar experiences? Does M-B have a fix for this? I have emailed them and am waiting for a response.

To me, it doesn't sound like a COMAND issue since so many other things were affected and the car would not drive. I would have looked at it as whatever issue the car had when it was being turned on caused multiple other problems, including COMAND functionality.
Maybe the battery is getting a little weak? I'm guessing you're still on the original one, and it is getting cold now depending where you live. Just a wild guess.
