Oil Leak GL450
Had an oil leak and it ended up being the crush washer wasn't replaced during the last oil change. What a mess.
Since I was already looking I see quite a bit of oil behind the oil filter on and around the cam magnets. To a lesser extent, also around the other sides cam magnets. It's not the cam sensor or cam magnet connectors. Is there a normal suspect that would cause this.
Other than that it looks pretty clean.

Sounds like the cylinder head front covers leaking. If that's what it is, it's a normal factory defect. Fixable by removing the covers, carefully removing the old sealant, and carefully re-applying new sealant and replacing the single-use aluminum screws. I had mine done under warranty and two years later no leaks. The dealer can do this for you. If you DIY I would buy the MB sealant and screws from the dealer parts department.

Sounds easier than those darn turbo coolant lines. Thanks
Watched a video. Take that back, looks much more difficult than the turbo lines. This repair will have to wait a while.
