GL350 Adblue Refill Interval
Just a quick question for the GL350 owners out there.
I'm coming up on 1 year of onership of my GL350 and I havent refilled the adblue a single time. I'm expecting some sort of an indicator to alert me that it's low but nothing has come up. In that time I've travelled about 10,000 kms. Is this normal? What intervals are others refilling theirs at?

As a result I've been preemptively topping off every 5K miles to prevent the warning. It's also been reported that it's helpful to not let it get too low, as low levels are harmful for the Adblue heater which is a "problem issue" for these vehicles.

Thanks for that. Looks like I'm not outside the range then and I just did my B1 service about a month ago.
So here's a stupid question. How do you refill the adblue? I have a 2 gallon jug of it so it as simple as pouring it in to the hole via a funnel like I would when using a gasoline jerry can? How do I know when it's full? Just fill it up to when it almost over flows?

However, I have yet to master the ability to stop before it's full so it's followed by a car wash.

The interval is greatly dictated by the driving conditions. Don't haul a trailer and don't have a heavy foot? You're not making the engine work hard and won't use a lot of fluid. I've had the ML for 6000 miles before we did a 2000 mile trip with the travel trailer and had to add a box of fluid. Twice.
