Lowering for better stance

Has anyone lowered their GL63 for a better stance? I have done some searching here but have not found anything. I have a 2015. Thanks in advance.

Yes, I have the Brabus lowering module. There are other options as well:

Renntech and H&R both make options.

takes less than 2 minutes. In fact, I keep the module in the SUV in case I want to raise it to stock.

Any alignment problems? Was the ride a little more harsh.

AMG GLS63
Im thinking lowering links too, only 10mm or so nothing too much, maybe just to flatten the very minor body roll in S mode, S+ is too much on UK roads

It is possible to change the suspension clearance with the OBD2 module from MWMods.

Portable device, easy to use.
You can adjust both front and rear separately, in 1mm increments.

Maximum down to -40mm and up to +40mm.

Details: lowering module

Looks good. Curious if the inside area of tires will wear faster due to camber and IRS.

Yes, it will. The lower the suspension is down, the more the tires will wear on the inside.

Usually for GLS's the suspension is lowered no more than -15-25mm.
At those values the wear won't be significant, but I would still advise leveling the negative camber.

2015 ML63
I purchased the lower module from MWmods for my 2015 ML63 about 4 months ago now. Zero issues with it, takes only a minute to adjust your height through the radio commands & level out to where you want her to be sitting. I know its not the GL like this thread is for but whatever.
My ML sits low now, improves the look a lot with such a simple mod.

Thanks for the feedback!

Our module works with both ML and GL classes. The module can be used to raise or lower the suspension. The front and rear can be adjusted separately.
Each step is one millimetre.

You can raise the suspension above the factory height, or lower it.

Max/min: +/- 2.5 inches from factory
